Shopping Haul: Number 1

So, i've been spending more money yet again that i can't afford, and i regret nothing!

My favourite purchase out of all these and probably the best bargain are my boots.

Been wanting a pair like these for a while now, and they are actually only from Primark for i think it was £18.00! So i was a very happy bunny.

My second favourite, although perhaps not a bargain is this Kimono from New Look, for £24.99, which you can buy here. I adore this Kimono, its got great colours to style with and i love the tassels at the bottom. Also in this picture are a pack of earrings i picked up in the sale in Miss Selfridge for £2.50. I got these just for day to day wear and they have proved very useful just cause i can shove them in with basically any outfit and it will go.

Another thing i got from Miss Selfridge is this cute blue fluffy jumper, which is in the sale for £15.00! And you can still get that online from here. Also in the picture is a gold chain necklace, i really wanted one of these just to wear casually to make outfits look a bit more bold sometimes, I got it from Accessorize for £10.00, which at first i wondered if it was a bit much, but i am going to get so much wear out of it! And also from Accessorize i got a little ring pack, with rings and midi rings to start off my collection, as i will be buying more! I think they were £12.00 and you get 7 rings.

Next, i got these sunglasses from Topshop, as i was in major need of glasses that actually kept the sun from blinding me! plus we've just had some amazing hot weather here in the UK, so i thought they were a necessity. I got them for around £14.00 with my student discount.

I was in need of some new pajamas also, and i only really got these for the stripy shorts but the shirt is also really cute. I got these from primark for £5.00!

And lastly, i went to see the one and only MCBUSTED! And it was amazing, and so obviously i got their tour shirt, which set me back £20.00, but so worth it!

So that concludes how much i have over-spent on clothes etc

Spring Clean

Well, a summer clean really, but i didn't have much to do today so i decided to tidy everything up. Also the main reason i'm showing you this is more of a before and after, as i am going to get lots of pretty things to store my makeup and such, and so when i am happy with it, i will be showing you all again!

My Dressing Table

So its sort of a makeshift dressing table as i am a student, my one at home is MUCH nicer, but hey..

Wish list:
  • New make up bags
  • New Brushes
  • Make up organisers
  • I always want new makeup
  • Bobby pins (i have like 3 left!)

My Bathroom Sink

I adore my hand which i store rings and important necklaces, but there just isn't enough room on it. I also love my mini chest of draws, where i keep most of my earrings!

Wish list:
  • Some form of necklace holder, i am a huge fan of the DIY stuff so if you have any bright ideas or come across any good blog posts about this, let me know.
  • Earring holder too

I will keep you informed of my progress! And please let me know any good idea you have for holders/organisers etc

Much love

Michelle Keegan look book

Michelle Keegan is a soap star on Corrie (although maybe not for much longer!) and although her character Tina doesn't always dress the best, Michelle is another story! She always looks amazing even if its casual or red carpet style! And if you don't know what Coronation street is, you are missing out!

Outfit number 1

This is such a casual outfit that looks great! and you can wear it anywhere, day shopping, on holiday, etc. So the statement piece to this outfit is really the bag, and i managed to find a black version of it from New look. Now the checked shirt is very simple, and you can search for whatever colours you prefer or suit, but i found a similar one to Michelle's here from Blue Inc. Here she is wearing some grey suede boots, and i found some similar ones here, but feel free to search for some!

Outfit number 2

This is more of a date night formal outfit, but looks so sophisticated and stylish. Starting from the bottom upwards this time, the shoes are lovely and that ankle strap is really in at the moment, so i found some more expensive ones here. But as these are in fashion at the moment you will be able to find something similar very easily, like at primark for example. These cigarette cut trousers are really lovely, and i couldn't find an exact match but just a plain black would look just as classic, here. And i found a shirt here with some detail on it which i feel would look really good together with the trousers. And because the top has some detail i found a more simple necklace, here.

Outfit number 3

I found this exact dress here, and this dress is easy to accessorize. The shoes are just a pale pink, salmon colour, and i found some from new look

And i'd also buy some big statement rings to bring more to the outfit, as well as a black clutch bag which are very easy to find, but here is a cheap one from ebay.

Thats all 3 outfits from Michelle, hope you have enjoyed these looks.

Much love xoxo

Vampire Diaries 'Get the look'

Now as the season 5 finale is almost at its end, and we will all be watching on thursday evening (if you are lucky enough to be able to watch it in America) or for us English people, watching it online on the Friday at some point. So i've selected some of my favourite outfits from season 5.

Katherine Peirce

So Katherine Peirce is the character we all love to hate, and here in episode 6 of season 5, she is looking her usual bitchy but stunning self. This dress is sweet, so can be a casual summers dress in the day, but also on a night out or date night it would look great! I found the exact dress here, but could be a little pricey for some of you. I found a similar dress with the lace and floral print for a lot cheaper, but its up to as personally i prefer Katherine's actual dress.

Now for the Bag, you can't actually see it other than the chain strap, i imagine a little black bag with this outfit so i found this one here. But this is totally up to you as how you want to accessorize.

Caroline Forbes

So this is from episode 8 in season 5, and its just a really simple flattering dress that can be made casual or fancy and i really like the pattern. Found the exact dress here from America. Now Caroline's necklace is pretty simple, found the exact one here, but its a bit pricey and i'm sure you can find something for cheaper like this one here, but i'll leave that mainly up to you guys!

Elena Gilbert

I admire Elena (or Nina) because the outfits they put together for are actually really simple and casual, but she still manages to look amazing! This outfit i found a really similar top from forever 21, and i really love forever 21. Now sticking with the summer vibe, just paring this with denim shorts or a nice little flowy skirt would look great, again i will leave that up to you!

Because this is such a basic outfit if you have a starting point (the top) its so easy to fit your style into it! So have fun with that girls.

Bonnie Bennett

We all love Bonnie, but sometimes her outfits are a little... plain for me. However i really loved this top and although i couldn't find an exact match, i found this one very similar here. The exact necklace she's wearing i also found here.

Now for summer obviously just pairing this with shorts or something would be good. But in this episode she's wearing dark jeans and buckled boots. Ones like these, but feel free to look around to something you'd prefer!

With season 5 getting wrapped up very soon i am very excited to see what unfolds and i hope this gave you some inspiration to go find a new outfit!

Much love
