Lips Haul

Hello lovelies, today my lips got spoilt! Only a few purchases but things i've been wanting to try nonetheless.

First stop was Topshop, at the moment they are doing 20% off so I did very well to keep myself in the makeup section and not even look at any clothes! (I genuinely have a shopping problem). But I have heard good things about the topshop makeup and especially the lipsticks so I decided to give them a go. There are so many lovely colours, the same goes to the nail varnish, and I spent ages trying to find my favorites (my friends tried on like 3 outfits in the time it took me to choose) I finally decided on the one from the lips section and I turn around to see more choices of colours of the sheer lips. So obviously I had to indulge in both. I wanted quite light colours as I have a few dark, and I picked a really sweet colour called 'macaroon' in the lips (so it also sounds delicious) which is a lovely pink shade, and then a slightly more orangey pink in the sheer lips called 'play with fire'.
These both retail at £8.00 but as I had 20% student discount I think they were about £6.40 each.

Next I ventured into superdrug, I was actually looking for the new Zoella products to have a little nosey, but it seemed that that superdrug was rubbish and didn't have any! However these little gems caught my eye. I have a few of the baby lips collection but i've actually not tried these before, and they were £2.99 each but with a buy one get one half price offer on. It was a tough choice to just choose two but I settled on 'Cherry Me' and the 'Strike a Rose' from the electro collection. Sticking to the pinkish theme i've carried with my lips on this blogpost.

I'm really impressed with them all to be honest and I can see my collection growing very soon!

Thanks for reading guys,

Mini shopping haul

Hey lovelies! So this weekend i have been down at my dads and we went shopping in the beautiful city of Bath!

So i didn't buy that much, but i'm rather broke at the moment and shouldn't have even got these things, but what can i say! we all need to treat ourselves occasionally.

So my first purchases were in the Mac store, and i did plan to get a few more things than this but i just wasn't loving the foundation at the time and i like someone to come up to me at mac and tell me the skin colour i should get, and that never happened. I did get some lipstick and blush however, and i am ashamed to say this is actually my first mac lipstick purchase (but i'm pretty sure it is far from my last, don't worry girls) At the moment i am really into plumy colours for my lips so i got a colour called 'brick' which you can see in the picture. This was £15.00 (i really wish Mac did student discount)

And then my second purchase from Mac was blush all day in 'MMCX-03', which is quite dark for my skintone and for summer but i really like the colour, and again, im sure it won't be my last purchase! Again that was £15.00 and that other little parcel you see there as well is actually a free sample of primer, i've actually bought the full product of this before and although it was good, i think there are cheaper just as effective primers out there.. but who doesn't love free stuff?
My next stop was Urban Outfitters, and i adore this store! I think i mostly love the quirky little things like the books or the homeware, but i also enjoy everything else. My first purchase was the hat which was like £16.00 with my student discount and i have been looking everywhere for a hat like this, because i don't know if i have an abnormal sized head or everyone else has big heads but i couldn't find one anywhere that fit my head nicely, and i tried this one and it was perfect! So had to snatch that up.

And then my last purchase again from Urban Outfitters was the watch. I've been looking for a cheapish watch that i really like and i'm not a fan of gold or silver straps unless they are real or they just look a bit cheap the majority of the time. This one was just adorable and i couldn't really afford it, but just couldn't pass it up.

And that is my mini shopping haul from this weekend!

Shopping Haul: Number 1

So, i've been spending more money yet again that i can't afford, and i regret nothing!

My favourite purchase out of all these and probably the best bargain are my boots.

Been wanting a pair like these for a while now, and they are actually only from Primark for i think it was £18.00! So i was a very happy bunny.

My second favourite, although perhaps not a bargain is this Kimono from New Look, for £24.99, which you can buy here. I adore this Kimono, its got great colours to style with and i love the tassels at the bottom. Also in this picture are a pack of earrings i picked up in the sale in Miss Selfridge for £2.50. I got these just for day to day wear and they have proved very useful just cause i can shove them in with basically any outfit and it will go.

Another thing i got from Miss Selfridge is this cute blue fluffy jumper, which is in the sale for £15.00! And you can still get that online from here. Also in the picture is a gold chain necklace, i really wanted one of these just to wear casually to make outfits look a bit more bold sometimes, I got it from Accessorize for £10.00, which at first i wondered if it was a bit much, but i am going to get so much wear out of it! And also from Accessorize i got a little ring pack, with rings and midi rings to start off my collection, as i will be buying more! I think they were £12.00 and you get 7 rings.

Next, i got these sunglasses from Topshop, as i was in major need of glasses that actually kept the sun from blinding me! plus we've just had some amazing hot weather here in the UK, so i thought they were a necessity. I got them for around £14.00 with my student discount.

I was in need of some new pajamas also, and i only really got these for the stripy shorts but the shirt is also really cute. I got these from primark for £5.00!

And lastly, i went to see the one and only MCBUSTED! And it was amazing, and so obviously i got their tour shirt, which set me back £20.00, but so worth it!

So that concludes how much i have over-spent on clothes etc

Much love

xoxo
