Whats in my bag

Hello lovelies, wow has it really been that long? Just a quick little update from uni (because that is the reason for my lack of posting) I have my last ever deadline on Wednesday!! So the stress is almost over! Today however, I wanted to do the what's in my bag tag.

The first item is my purse, this purse is from River Island and I think i've had it for about 3 years now, and I haven't found any other purse that could replace it as of yet. I will be gutted if it ever breaks on me. It's just the perfect size with the perfect amount of compartments and I love it.

I am not the most tidy of persons when it comes to my purse, I constantly have receipts sticking out everywhere and train tickets etc. but it does the job!

Next is my handbag makeup bag, I always like to have a smaller makeup bag for my handbag as I never like to lug around all my makeup. At the moment this little bag is a black one from Ted Baker. I switch what goes in this all the time, but at the moment it is just the Maybelline matte mousse foundation, a Mac lipstick in the shade 'creme in your coffee' which I am loving at the moment, and then just some hand gel.

I think this picture just sums up the weather we are having in the UK at the moment, I am carrying an umbrella and sunglasses! The umbrella I have at the moment is the amazing Pandora one I got from work. And I need some new sunglasses but these are just some ones from Topshop.

If you know me, you will know I will not be anywhere without a hairbrush, I probably brush my hair a bit too often to be honest. So that is an essential for my bag, and then I also have the worlds smallest pencil case as my friends like to call it. Its basically just got enough room for two pens and a highlighter, which is all I need for uni. So its perfect. (I do have a bigger one too, just don't like carrying that round with me everywhere)

I shall start with my little business card holder. I have this to keep my business cards in and any that I get given, to keep them nice and safe. I then have my mini mac book which is actually a pocket mirror (Which you may have seen on my 'what I got for Christmas haul') And then lastly, when I was at work the other day I took a few of my charms off my bracelet so I popped it in that little pouch for now.

And lastly, your bag would be pretty useless without your keys. I have my house keys for Uni and my house keys for home along with my car keys.

And that is everything that I take round with me in my bag! If you guys have done a similar post, I would love to see what you keep in yours!

December Favourties

Hello lovelies, today I thought instead of boring you with every single thing I got for Christmas I would just do a favourites post with some of the things I go this month. It was incredibly hard to choose as I got so many amazing things this year. I actually don't think i've ever had as much!

So I managed to choose 7 things for this months favourites out of all of the amazing things I got this year. I've got quite a big mix into what I've got this month and some are a little random.

First, my beloved Michael Kors watch. I actually had no idea I was getting this at all. I literally mentioned it to my dad in a passing comment. I hadn't even looked myself into which one i'd really love but they chose well because it is very me. I do really like the big ones but now I have this one it is just so much more suited to me.

It is beautiful. And I am still not used to watches that tell you the date and day and everything, never had a fancy watch before. It's pretty cool.

Next, and this was a total shock too. This was a present from work! All 13 of us got Chanel perfume. I was amazed but it is fast becoming my favourite smell in the world. I'd never had chanel before, or even smelt this one so I feel so lucky to have got this from work when my friends have been like, I got a tub of celebrations.

These next two are a little different. The first one my boyfriend got me which is the Friends DVDs. We actually started watching them together as I (Don't hurt me) have never actually seen friends all the way through. We watched them online and it got a bit of a pain so one of the presents he got me was the whole box set, which I am loving.

The next is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Its a little Macbook Air pocket mirror! Its honestly such a perfect copy but just mini and its a mirror!
Best Invention ever! My mum got me this one because she knows I love cute little things.

My mum also got me this too, it's a book with '500 words you should know'. Now my friends already joke about how I speak with big fancy words so this book is perfect to give them a bit more to joke about. Plus with me doing a Journalism degree it's always good to know big words. I'll give you some examples:

Rejoinder

A reply that is especially sharp and witty. 'The dazzling rejoinder I should have made came to me half an hour later, long after I put the phone down'

Eschew

Nothing to do with chewing, this is instead connected with shy in the sense of 'to shy away from'. It means to avoid, to abstain from: you might eschew chocolate for lent.

Hope you guys learnt some new words there, if you knew either of those I am totally stunned.

Also in that picture were the Ted Baker lipsticks I received. I actually got three in the pack, but I left one at Uni. Whoops. The colours you get in the pack are actually lovely, you get a red, a pink and a nude. All are equally as lovely.

And best till last - My very first Tiffany necklace! (Or Tiffany anything) This is the other present my boyfriend treated me too, and I love it. He knew I needed a necklace to wear everyday, nothing majorly big or too statement. And this is perfect.

He did very well. I wouldn't have even thought about Tiffany (other than for engagement rings, obviously)

I have been ridiculously spoilt last month, I hope you all have been too! Let me know what your favourite Christmas present of 2014 was.

Blogmas: Day 10!

As if it is the 10th of December already! Time is flying by, and I am not too far behind on my Christmas shopping this year, but this post is about my Christmas wishlist for this year.

First, and I know I am pushing my luck a bit here - but it is a Michael Kors watch. I got a bag for my birthday and I just think everything about the brand is beautiful.

Next is a gel nail kit, basically instead of spending about 20 pounds every time I want to get my nails done, I get this and it will work out so much cheaper. Now for my job we have to have our nails painted and looking nice but if I just used normal nail varnish it would chip it about 10 minutes, so this will be perfect and will save me sooo much money!

I am also in desperate need of some new winter boots, my trusty chelsea boots have recently failed me and have started to have a little hole in the bottom so I really need some flat (ish) chelsea boots of some kind! Boohoo is somewhere that never disappoints.

And just for some little stocking filler kind of things, I've been wanting a yankee candle car jar for my car since i've got him now so hopefully Christmas will be good to me.

I also really enjoy just getting little wintery bits and bobs that can be useful, like hats and scarfs and stuff. My mum is usually quite good at getting those little bits so thats about it really for this year!

Let me know what you guys have been pining for over the Christmas season and what is on your wishlists!

Birthday Haul!!

Hello lovelies, So the 27th of August was my 20th birthday, and my gosh was I spoilt! And i'm writing you a blogpost about all the wonderful things I got this year.

So I was so lucky this year, I was a bit down about it as not a lot of people were around for it and I wasn't expecting much at all because we are in the process of looking for a car for me, so I thought all the money would go toward that. However I got thoroughly spoilt! This is just a look into a few of my favourite presents.

So I'll start with Marvin. Marvin is the teddy bear you can see, he is a build-a-bear teddy (the ones where you go pick the teddy, you stuff them with the stuffing then put a heart inside him and sew him up and they come alive) And he has a little birth certificate and everything, I love him. This was from my boyfriend and all he needs now is a little bow tie.

Then Marvin is kindly holding my Naked 3 palette! I've wanted one of these for forever, and I can't wait to get experimenting with it!

Next I got some headphones, I am normally just using some stick in headphones and recently they have been playing up a bit, so these seem great! And they are obviously a lot cheaper than say Beats or other competitors.

Now you may be looking at the bottom right hand corner and going, is she 3? no my friend, minions are my favourite thing in the world, and my best friend went above and beyond! I got minion everything, those are just two of the things in that picture. She even made me a minion birthday cake!! (Pictures will be down below).

Another one of my favourites is my Pandora Ring. It is from the birthstone ring collection and it is the month of March. This is another gift from my boyfriend and his birthday is in March, and it just so happened that this gemstone was my favourite one. I believe it is aquamarine.

And then finally, the best till last. This was the biggest surprise of the day, I was not expecting this in the slightest! I now own my very own Michael Kors bag, and it is perfect!

Honestly I am so over the moon with this. When i opened it I couldn't stop shaking for ages afterwards.

Then I had several surprises throughout the day...

I got this amazing bouquet of Roses delivered from my boyfriend who sadly couldn't be with me on my birthday.

Then this amazing minion cake!! which tasted just as good as it looked.

Overall I had such a lovely day surrounded by love, and I am so grateful.
Thanks for reading guys,
