Top Swimwear Picks

Hello lovelies, Today i will be sharing with you my top bikini's I love for this summer as my wardrobe is seriously lacking in these items of clothing.

My first choice is this very cute watermelon print bikini with high waisted bottoms. I really like the look of the high waisted bottoms but if you don't they also have regular bottoms. This bikini is from New look and you can get it for around 25 pounds depending on what bottoms you want. Watermelon print is adorable at the moment, along with pineapples, they would look equally as cute on a bikini.

This one is from Topshop and has another similar bralet style, and i think this is really flattering for any body and bust shape, and i really love the patterns on this. The reason i am mainly going for darker colour bikini's so far is because i am a milk bottle, typically english and don't tan in the slightest! Although i love white bikini's, i think they look so classy... I just can't pull them off, which upsets me greatly. This bikini is £34.00 and you can buy it from here. They also have a very similar one in a reddy burgundy colour which is also very nice.

Moving on to a swimsuit now, i don't think this picture does it justice at all. This pattern is amazing and i love it and although it doesn't look it on the mannequin, i think it would be really flattering. This one is from River Island and is a limited edition. This is £30.00 and you can get it from here online.

Another one from New Look again, and this is in the Kelly Brooke line which i know fits me really well and is really flattering. Plus the pattern is adorable. And thats around £30.00 from here.

There are so many others i could post on here but not enough time i'm afraid, but these are just a few of my faves for summer '14. As i will be purchasing a lot of these i will let you guys know how they are.

My Summer Reading List

Hello Lovelies! Now I know a lot of my recent posts are all very summer related, but i am so excited for the weather and holidays etc etc (Although this is England and the chances of getting sun are very low!) So I thought i would share with you, my summer reading list!

  • The Fault in our Stars
Now i know like the whole world should have read this book already but i haven't however had time to as of yet, so this is number one on my summer reading list. Plus i do like to read the books before i go and see the movies.

  • Billy and Me
My friends told me about this one and said it was well worth a read! There is also the second one to this and so if i'm extra speedy with all these i will start that one too, and the second one is called 'You're the one that I want'. Also it's all about the whole summer before Uni thing and all that so if you are going to University come September, read this!

  • The Lucky one
Now i've actually had this book for ages, picked it up at a charity shop for like one pound, but i've never got round to reading it, and i love the film and all of Nicholas Sparks books so this is definitely on this summers list!

  • Mercury in Retrograde

Now this book is by Paula Froeligh, she is actually a reporter for the New Post for page six, so we know she can write all the gossip! In the book its about a socialite with a secret and how she has to make her own way after her dad cuts her off. As a wanna-be reporter myself I thought this would be a really good read!

  • Commencement
As this book is all about University life and all that, and how most unlikely people become the best of friends I thought it would be well worth a read. Going through a lot of things a lot of people at University will be able to relate to, my guess is it will be funny, entertaining and moving all at the same time!

So i know i've got a few there but i've got a long summer holidays so who knows i might even need to add more! Please let me know your summer reading list and if you've decided to read any of mine yourself this summer. Thanks lovelies

Get the Festival look

Hello lovelies,

Now as summer approaches, its getting more and more into the festival season! So i am going to share with you some of my faves for this years festival season.

Now, firstly it is essential to have some kind of flowery head piece! I actually purchased this one from Misguided for only £3.99. This is a look that not many can pull off when not actually at a festival, so good on you if you can!

It's just a really simple headband that will make you feel summery and at one with the festival! You can get these at pretty much any high street store and online at the moment as everyone will be stocking up for whichever festival takes your fancy.

Another favourite accessory of mine for festivals is some crazy sunglasses! I personally love these heart sunglasses as they are super cute and just fun. You can get these here from ebay for as little as 99p! Bargain.

When it comes to what to where, there is either the classic denim shorts and a tshirt which i did every day last time i went, but this year i wanted to explore dresses to wear and what better than a floral dress to make you feel summery!

For festivals, I am obsessed with the daisy pattern at the moment, and i loved this little skater dress as its so simple to just shove on with a pair of wellies! This dress is again from Misguided for £19.99.

With the usual denim shorts i found the cute little bralet which would go with basically anything, if you wanted to add a floral kimono or all sorts. And this is on Ebay for £16.99, here.

Festival season, in England anyway, in not exactly know for its amazing weather, and so us British girls need to be prepared! If you like to do things on the cheap, like myself (when i am a poor student with no job) I think a simple rain poncho will do the job and still look stylish... well as stylish as you can when you look like you are wearing a bin liner! But look around because you can actually get some really funny ones like this 'Egg fried poncho' here

Or if you do have a bit more money to spare, i really love the look of this clear raincoat! This would keep you nice and dry, not too warm and you still get to show off your outfit! This one is from Topshop for £40.00, but if you hunt around you might be able to find some bargains!

As i am going to a festival this year i am looking forward to sharing with you what i am going to take!

Mini shopping haul

Hey lovelies! So this weekend i have been down at my dads and we went shopping in the beautiful city of Bath!

So i didn't buy that much, but i'm rather broke at the moment and shouldn't have even got these things, but what can i say! we all need to treat ourselves occasionally.

So my first purchases were in the Mac store, and i did plan to get a few more things than this but i just wasn't loving the foundation at the time and i like someone to come up to me at mac and tell me the skin colour i should get, and that never happened. I did get some lipstick and blush however, and i am ashamed to say this is actually my first mac lipstick purchase (but i'm pretty sure it is far from my last, don't worry girls) At the moment i am really into plumy colours for my lips so i got a colour called 'brick' which you can see in the picture. This was £15.00 (i really wish Mac did student discount)

And then my second purchase from Mac was blush all day in 'MMCX-03', which is quite dark for my skintone and for summer but i really like the colour, and again, im sure it won't be my last purchase! Again that was £15.00 and that other little parcel you see there as well is actually a free sample of primer, i've actually bought the full product of this before and although it was good, i think there are cheaper just as effective primers out there.. but who doesn't love free stuff?
My next stop was Urban Outfitters, and i adore this store! I think i mostly love the quirky little things like the books or the homeware, but i also enjoy everything else. My first purchase was the hat which was like £16.00 with my student discount and i have been looking everywhere for a hat like this, because i don't know if i have an abnormal sized head or everyone else has big heads but i couldn't find one anywhere that fit my head nicely, and i tried this one and it was perfect! So had to snatch that up.

And then my last purchase again from Urban Outfitters was the watch. I've been looking for a cheapish watch that i really like and i'm not a fan of gold or silver straps unless they are real or they just look a bit cheap the majority of the time. This one was just adorable and i couldn't really afford it, but just couldn't pass it up.

And that is my mini shopping haul from this weekend!
